Holistic Therapy & Counselling

Is holistic therapy for you?
I offer inclusive support in navigating life transitions, shifts in identity, roles or relationships and other events involving loss and grief. My practice often involves reflecting on these experiences in the context of intersecting social, cultural, neurotype, gender/sexuality and other diversity factors, in addition to trauma histories and complex mental health challenges. I understand how these periods can lead us to question who we are, our connection with ourselves and others and our capacity to move forward.
Together we can explore whatever is happening for you in a safe and trauma-sensitve way. My areas of experience include:
-
Youth counselling
-
Relationship counselling
-
Women's wellbeing
-
Perinatal mental health & birth trauma
-
Family & parent/carer counselling
-
Cultural identity, intergenerational issues & racial trauma
-
LGBTQIA+ experiences, including gender affirmation journeys.

How does holistic therapy work?
I often work with individuals looking for therapeutic support beyond clinical assessment and treatment. My somatic approach includes polyvagal practices to bring awareness to the mind-body connection and calm the nervous system. This can help in releasing anxiety and embodied trauma and shifting out of survival mode. Our sessions also involve talk-based therapy to reflect on your experiences on a deeper level to find clarity, and work towards developing coping skills for emotional balance and physical resilience.
Counselling appointments are available in Parkville and Langwarrin, and online until 7pm and on weekends by arrangement. Sessions with interpreter support are also offered.
Individual: $100/$60 (concession), couples: $150/$110 and families: $200/160.
Counselling appointments are not eligible for Medicare rebates, however a referral or mental healthcare plan is not required; NDIS clients are welcome.
